The Ginger Kaplan Scholarship Fund
3/6/12
To all of our faithful fans: your generous contributions to the Fund, listed below, reflect our present status, two thirds of the way home. We are presently searching for our first annual female dog to represent Ginger's memory, and soon to be on her way to becoming a service dog for a disabled veteran in the Myrtle Beach area. To all of you who have donated to date, our biggest "Thank You"!!! To those who have waited, please do so now to get us to our goal.....
Thanks from Rick & the Canine Angels
In honor of our beloved Ginger, who died January 1, 2012, after 12 years of dedication, service, therapy, teaching, loving, forgiving, and loyalty, Canine Angels has created a scholarship fund for a future service dog in her name.
Service dogs have a value of $15,000 to $30,000, depending upon the required service; at Canine Angels, we donate all of our time and energy to the training, resulting in a mere $3000 cost to produce a service dog for a disabled American Veteran.
We ask all of you whose life sweet Ginger has touched, and who appreciate her love of life, people, and other dogs, to honor her by sending a contribution to Canine Angels, for the Ginger Kaplan Scholarship Fund. When the goal of $3000 has been reached, we will choose one female dog per year as the recipient of the donations, and her complete expenses will have been paid by your gifts; we will publish her progress for all to read, and Ginger's memory will live within her for all of us to witness. We will also publish a donor list to honor those contributors.
All gifts to Canine Angels for the benefit of the Ginger Kaplan Scholarship Fund are tax deductible.
